The Eastern Wind Symphony and Princeton Brass Band are coming back to Richardson Auditorium for an afternoon of holiday favorites and exciting instrumental music!

The Eastern Wind Symphony is a professional-level ensemble for musicians dedicated to performing the best wind and percussion literature. Artistic Director Mr. Todd Nichols and Assistant Conductor Mr. Adam Warshafsky currently guide the Eastern Wind Symphony to achieve its artistic goals, revitalize the community it supports, and bring unique and challenging musical experiences to both its members and audiences. The Eastern Wind Symphony has presented critically acclaimed performances at Carnegie Hall, John F. Kennedy Center, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and Patriots Theater at the War Memorial.

The Princeton Brass Band is devoted to advancing the British-style brass band tradition in New Jersey through performance and educational outreach. It is what is commonly referred to as a 'British-Style' brass band (cornets, flugel horn, alto/tenor horns, baritones, euphoniums, tenor and bass trombones, Eb tuba and Bb tuba and percussion) with 28 players, to distinguish it from the 'American-Style' jazz brass band. The Princeton Brass Band is now a major cultural presence in New Jersey and the USA, attracting top players from throughout the region. In 2008, the band brought their first national trophy back to New Jersey and in 2013 became National Champions of North America. The band is conducted by Aaron VanderWeele, who serves on the faculty of the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, and has been Principal Euphonium and Euphonium Soloist of the world-renowned New York Staff Band since 1993.
