Winds and Harp: Ravel and his World

Winds and Harp: Ravel and his World
One of the longest-lived chamber ensembles in New York, the Sylvan Winds, celebrates Maurice Ravel's 150th with harpist Kristi Shade. "Winds and Harp: Ravel and His World" features the composer's Menuet Antique and Le Tombeau de Couperin, plus music by Ravel's contemporaries Gabriel Faure, Claude Debussy, and more. Eglise St. Jean Baptiste is one of the country's most beautiful churches and is included in the National Registry of Historic Buildings.
