"Women in Music - A Celebration of Voice and Legacy" from the early Romantic period to the present
Performances by piano students in the "Program for Excellence in Piano Study" (PEPS) at the New School for Music Study. The piano recital celebrates compositions of women composers whose artistry has influenced music from the early Romantic period to the present. Features works by Amy Beach, Donna Gray and Valerie Capers and others. Performers will share brief insights into the study of these works.
This is the 4th (and final) "Lecture Recital Series" by the New School for Music Study (NSMS) in partnership with the Princeton Public Library.
