Alice Weiss

Station Manager/Program Director

Alice has enjoyed a career in public radio and public television since 1980. She is currently station manager for award-winning, WWFM The Classical Network at Mercer County Community College, Trenton, NJ, where she has also been program director since 1988. She has also held positions as host/producer for WNED-FM - Buffalo, NY - Western New York Public Broadcasting; Arts and Culture programs host and fundraising host at WNED-TV - Buffalo;  for KCND, Bismarck, ND - North Dakota Public Broadcasting, and for WMRA, Harrisonburg, VA, at James Madison University. She has hosted and produced numerous concert broadcasts, both live and pre-recorded, for radio featuring many of the world’s great classical artists.     

A native of Chicago, Alice’s musical background includes study and performance in piano, saxophone and horn. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from James Madison University where she majored in piano. For the past 28 years she has been a chorus member with Princeton Pro Musica, an ensemble devoted to performance of the great choral masterworks. She has also been a singer with the Bismarck-Mandan Civic Chorus (North Dakota) and the Buffalo Schola Cantorum (New York). She is past chair of the Princeton University Concerts Committee and past board member of Princeton Pro Musica.
