We've been in space for the past two weeks, so we're coming down to earth with Giacomo Puccini's "wild west" opera "The Girl of the Golden West." Our Minnie on this 1958 recording is the wonderful Renata Tebaldi, her love, the bandit Ramirez, is Mario Del Monaco, and the scheming sheriff who also loves Minnie is Cornell MacNeil.
