Host Deborah Simpkin King shares excerpts from the premiere performance of Voices by Michael Shapiro, an oratorio based on poetry by Jews in the Mediterranean region, including France, Greece and Italy, during the Holocaust. The performance featured tenor soloist Senior Cantor Daniel Mutlu, Ember Choral Arts and the American Modern Ensemble, conducted by Simpkin King.
