Celebrating 40 Years with the Princeton Singers

This broadcast Monday (10/14 at 8 pm) looks back on the performances and repertoire of The Princeton Singers.

The Princeton Singers recently wrapped up their 40th Anniversary season, and this broadcast celebrates the choral artistry of this all-professional choir through its history. Artistic Director Dr. Steven Sametz joins David Osenberg to co-host this retrospective that features and celebrates the ensemble's wide and diverse repertoire, and the unique place it holds in the Princeton Music Scene.

This program will be rebroadcast Saturday (10/19) at 2 pm.

David Osenberg is WWFM Partnership Manager, WWFM Music Director, Afternoon Host, and Host of award-winning Cadenza.
Composer and conductor Steven Sametz serves as the Artistic Director of the professional chamber choir The Princeton Singers and is Director of Choral Activities at Lehigh University. He has appeared as guest conductor with the New York Chamber Symphony, the Taipei Philharmonic Foundation, the Berkshire Music Festival and the Netherlands Radio Choir appearing in such venues as Avery Fisher Hall, the Schubertsaal at the Vienna State Opera House, St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall (Russia), Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (Taipei) and Berlin Philharmonic Hall.
