Recently, the temps dropped a bit in the area around the studio, and the pleasant weather brought out the walkers, so this week’s Dress Circle (8/20 7:00 p.m.) is going to be taking a walk with the musicals so that we can join the other walkers in spirit.
This program will feature walks through memories, the air, and hopes and dreams. We’ll even be walking a dog.
Once again, our songs come from well and lesser-known musicals like “The Full Monty,” “Mame,” “Carousel,” and “Me and My Girl.”
The lesser-known shows include “Carmelina,” “Follow the Boys,” “Purlie,” “The Happy Time,” and “How Now Dow Jones.”
We’ve come across so many “walking” songs that we probably have enough for at least one more show, but that’ll have to wait because we find we need a rest!
