It’s that time of year again, and even amid all of the controversies, so many people are grateful for “Back to School.” On this week’s Dress Circle (8/27 7:00 p.m.), we’re heading back with a bit of help from the musicals.
We’ve chosen songs about schools including alma maters and fight songs, about lessons, and many other aspects of life in academia.
As usual, we’ll hear from familiar musicals such as “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” “Pinocchio,” “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” “Bye Bye Birdie,” and “Grease” (even if it is in Swedish from the Stockholm cast).
The lesser-known shows include “Too Many Girls,” “Personals,” “High Button Shoes,” and more.
Join us for a bit of fun that takes us from “Second Grade” through to “Rutgers” and “Yale” this week and celebrate various aspects of going back to school.
