One can’t have a musical without music, so on this week’s Dress Circle (7/14 7:00 p.m.), we’ve programmed fourteen songs about “music.”
Our “music-als” program include songs from “Cinderella,” “Ragtime,” “Song of Norway,” “Oh, Captain!,” “New York, New York,” and nine others.
Some of our performers include Victoria Clark, Jason Danieley, Fred Astaire, Barbra Streisand, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Audra McDonald, Marin Mazzie, and many more.
We’ll hear “Strange Music” and “The Morning Music of Montmartre” and “The Music of Home.” We’ll “Miss the Music,” “Face the Music and Dance,” and “Say It with Music.”
We’ve got “New Music” and find out that “There Is Music in You.”
With everything said, however, we just want to “Thank You for the Music” that has allowed us to be volunteer hosts of The Dress Circle for the past 41 years.
