July 26 is National Aunt and Uncle Day! Who knew? We found out before it was too late, so this week’s Dress Circle (7/26 7:00 p.m.), we’re going to be celebrating some aunts and uncles through stage and screen musicals along with at least two television series. Since there were actually so few songs dedicated to aunts and uncles, we’ve gone far afield and found some interesting and forgotten/rare pieces.

For a few years after 2020 hit, people became obsessed with once again being able to travel. Now, with the price of oil and gas (and rising prices in general), many have started to bemoan the fact that traveling might not be in the cards once again this year. To help remedy this, we’re looking at songs about traveling on this week’s Dress Circle (5/17 7:00 p.m.) in the hopes we can vicariously ease the angst many are feeling.

We’re doing our best to prepare you for Valentine’s Day on this week’s Dress Circle (2/9 7:00 p.m.) as we turn to the musicals for songs about the city of romance, Paris.
