On December 26th of last year, the musical theatre community lost Jerry Herman, and we’ll be remembering him on this week’s Dress Circle (3/8 7:00 p.m.). We’ll do this through nine of his musicals including “Milk and Honey,” “La Cage aux Folles,” “Mame,” “Mack and Mabel,” “The Grand Tour,” and “Miss Spectacular.”
There'll also be a song from the TV musical “Mrs. Santa Claus,” and we’re going to show the international appeal of Herman through three songs from his biggest hit “Hello, Dolly!” from the latest Broadway revival starring Bette Midler, the original Paris cast recording starring Annie Cordy, and the Tel Aviv cast starring Hana Maron. Tune in and sing along as we pay tribute to another American original.
