The Dress Circle: "Oh Those Callaways," Ann Hampton and Liz

We’re featuring a sister-act on this week’s Dress Circle (11/15 7:00 p.m.) as we look at those Callaways, Ann Hampton and Liz with selections from their musical and solo recording careers.  Suggested by their recent concert and CD entitled Sibling Revelry, we’ll hear duets including something they call “The Huge Medley” and a song from Sondheim’s “Merrily We Roll Along.”

From Ann’s recording career we’ll hear songs from “Into the Woods,” “Manhattan Mary,” and “Miss 1917.”  Liz is, of course, represented by songs from her appearance in Maltby and Shire’s “Baby” as well as songs from “Hair” and “The Baker’s Wife.”  Two sisters with very different voices but similar wonderful talents will be joining us for this week’s program, and we hope you will as well.

Michael is program host and host of the WWFM Sunday Opera, Sundays at 3 pm, and co-host of The Dress Circle, Sundays at 7 pm.
Ted Otten is co-host of The Dress Circle
