In Memoriam Joan Lippincott: Chamber Music for Organ and Strings

In Memoriam Joan Lippincott: Chamber Music for Organ and Strings
Join the Central New Jersey Chapter of the American Guild of Organists this October for an unforgettable evening of chamber music in celebration of the life of Joan Lippincott (1935–2025) and the immeasurable impact she had on countless organists in New Jersey and around the world. Framed by autumn’s warm colors and crisp breezes, the concert will feature a local string ensemble and Paul Fritts’s charming Opus 21 organ, which was donated by Joan and Curtis Lippincott to Princeton Theological Seminary in 2019. Support local artists while discovering underappreciated musical gems in an intimate evening that will inspire.
Admission is free. Refreshments will be provided.
Program to include works by Bach, Corrette, Frescobaldi, Handel, Mozart, Stanley, and Sweelinck.
Performers: Christopher Jones (violin), Eugenia Goldman (violin), Joel Rudin (viola), Elina Lang (cello), and Mina Choi and Kerry Heiman (organ/harpsichord) .
