The Masterworks Choir presents “Missa Rigensis” by Latvian composer Ugis Praulins
The Masterworks Choir is a community choir, open to everyone. Our choir has celebrated over 50 years of musical excellence! The choir and soloists perform Latvian composer Ugis Praulins’ classical “Missa Rigensis.” John Bate is musical director and conductor; Glenn Kinckner is organist. The Mass is in honor of the composer’s native city Riga. In addition to classical music, Praulins had toured with a rock and folk band. What an exciting and inspirational piece of music! The concert is free; a free-will offering will be taken.
