The Dress Circle: Programs of Christmas Past

It’s time again for the ghosts to visit, and this year, we’re being visited by some Programs of Christmas Past on this week’s Dress Circle (12/22 7:00 p.m.) as we look at some listener favorites from past programs featuring songs from stage and screen musicals.

Like us, our listeners focused more on stage musicals like “Mame,” “Scrooge,” “The Gift of the Magi,” “Subways Are for Sleeping,” “Pickwick,” “Here’s Love,” and “A Year with Frog and Toad.” We’ll learn that “We Need a Little Christmas” and how to have a “Merry Almost Christmas” and why we need to “Be a Santa.”

From the big and small screen, we’re turning to “Say one for Me,” “Mixed Nuts,” “The Muppets A Christmas Carol,” and “The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood.” From these, we’ll find out about “The Secret of Christmas” and “The Bells of Christmas” and we’ll all “Wish the World a Happy Yule.”

Take a break from the holiday crazies, and join us this Sunday for some wonderful songs from the musicals about Christmas! After all, you chose them!
