The Dress Circle: Happy Meteorology Day

March 23rd is Meteorology Day, and since it’s the chance for a bit of “calendar art” we’re going to celebrate it on this week’s Dress Circle (3/23 7:00 p.m.). How? We’ve searched databases to find songs about meteorological events, and we’ve found quite a few.

We’ll be showcasing fourteen of those songs this week, and they include rain, snow, fog, mist, rainbows, and even a tornado!

Once again, you’re sure to know some of the musicals to which we are turning like “The Wiz,” “Pal Joey,” and “The Fantasticks,” others like “Up in Central Park,” “Just So,” and “Moby Dick” may be new to you.

Some of the other shows include “Radio Gals,” “Irene,” “110 in the Shade,” and “Listen to the Wind.”

There are more, but you know you’ll have to tune in this Sunday to hear what they are, and we can promise you, you won’t be disappointed if you do.
