The Princeton Symphonic Brass, under the baton of Lawrence Kursar, will hold its annual Classics and Carols Holiday Concert on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 7:30 PM at the Community Middle School Auditorium, 95 Grovers Mill Road, Plainsboro, New Jersey. The concert will feature Family Friendly Carols, Christmas Classics, Hanukkah Music, and more in a state-of-the-art performance space with ample, free parking. Back by popular demand is our Holiday SING-ALONG along with many new brand pieces written for the group.

The Princeton Symphonic Brass was founded in 2016 and is comprised of eleven brass players, two percussionists, and a conductor. This all-star group includes some of the finest musicians from the top musical ensembles near Princeton and has a repertoire spanning from the Renaissance to today.
Ring in the holidays with the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra at Sounds of the Season! Under the baton of Dr. Julia Baumanis, this festive concert shines with timeless classics and joyful favorites — from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite to the grand Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. Joined in concert by four local choirs, the audience is invited to sing along to the most favorite orchestral carols of the season. The lush voice of Paula Johns will also warm the stage with holiday jazz classics that capture the true spirit of the season. Bring family and friends and join us for an evening of artistry and celebration, with a few musical surprises along the way — a perfect musical prelude to the holidays!

Westminster Choir College of Rider University's popular holiday concert returns with evenings of holiday music and readings, featuring performances by our Chapel Choir, Symphonic Choir, Concert Bell Choir, Jubilee Singers, and Westminster Choir. This year’s performances of An Evening of Readings and Carols will be Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at 8 p.m. in the Princeton University Chapel.

Join Ballet for Young Audiences as they present another year of this Grunin Center holiday tradition. This child-friendly production of The Nutcracker tells the story of Clara, the favorite godchild of Herr Drosselmeyer, a mysterious clockmaker who helps to transport Clara and her Nutcracker Prince to a special realm. This condensed version of the ballet is narrated to help young ballet enthusiasts enjoy the performance.

SURF CITY – Looking to enjoy some jazz on a Saturday afternoon? Come hear jazz duo Brian Betz and Behn Gillece perform American standards and classic jazz tunes at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 13 at the Long Beach Island Branch of the Ocean County Library.
Brian Betz is a guitarist, composer, and educator from the Philadelphia area who performs across the country with various musical artists. Betz holds two degrees from Rowan University and heads the jazz guitar department at his alma mater. He holds an endorsement by GHS guitar strings.
Behn Gillece is a vibraphonist, composer, and educator from New Jersey who has performed at prestigious venues around the world as a sideman and bandleader. Gillece takes inspiration from jazz vibraphonists Milt Jackson, Gary Burton, and Bobby Hutcherson. His newest album Pivot Point explores new musical territory while reaffirming his roots in the straight-ahead jazz tradition.

Voices Chorale's winter concert features the regional premiere of "A Garland for Christmas" by contemporary British composer John Whittaker, a joyful work that embraces the warmth, feasting, and gentle frivolity of the season spent with family and friends.
Also on the program are delightful settings of traditional carols, as well as new texts of seasonal imagery that are sure to delight.
